Some examples of interpersonal communication are:

  • Face-to-face conversations
  • Phone conversations
  • Sign language
  • Using body language

Intercultural Communication

The communication between individuals of different linguistic, cultural origins, or social groups.


Some examples of intercultural communication are:

  • Conversations between an American woman and a Chinese woman
  • A Buddhist conversing with a Christian person
  • An African American woman conversing with an Asian American man
