If you are out of work or have had your hours reduced, you may be eligible to receive unemployment benefits from California's Employment Development Department (EDD). If you have lost your job or are working reduced hours specifically due to the COVID-19 situation, you may be eligible for the new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program. In light of COVID-19 and the resulting campus-wide shift to online classes, we are now offering live research help via Zoom! Please visit the library website and click the corresponding link to connect with us.

Once the campus reopens and in-person classes resume, we encourage you to stop by and visit the library, located in AC2-148 (Find us on the campus map.) During the fall and spring semesters, the Clovis Community College Library is typically open:

Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Clovis Community College also has a full-service Career Resource Center at the Clovis Campus to support students in achieving their career and employment goals.

To serve you during the pandemic, the CRC now offers Zoom appointments with career counselors!: To schedule one, call 559-325-5398 or email and leave a message with your name, student ID, and a little bit about the information or assistance you need.  

During a normal semester (with an open campus), the CRC is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

CRC services include:

  • Resume assistance
  • Interview preparation
  • Job shadow opportunities
  • Transfer services

and more.
