What is OneSearch?

OneSearch allows you to search multiple library’s resources all at once. These resources include:

  • The library catalog (includes books in print, eBooks, and physical multimedia items like DVDs and audiobooks on CD, from all State Center Community College District libraries)
  • Most of our research databases
  • Open access materials (scholarly journal articles and eBooks that are freely available online)

Like most library search tools, you also have many options to limit and filter your searches to just the items you need.

You can use OneSearch by entering your search terms in the search box at the top of this page, or access it from the CCC Library page under the link "Books: Library Catalog."

Why Use OneSearch?

OneSearch is the primary self-service tool for searching and locating library materials. This search tool also assists you as an alternative to searching our research databases one at a time; OneSearch allows you to search across most of these resources all at once.

Not only does OneSearch allow you to search within the CCC Library collection, but it will also provide you with access to Open Access books and articles, and you can search other colleges' collections simultaneously. You may request almost any physical book from other State Center Community College District libraries directly from OneSearch with easy log in instructions. When you sign in, OneSearch also offers convenient account functions like reviewing the items you have out, renewing items, and saving items from the catalog for easy access.
